"user not specified"

I was getting some funny error messages trying to reply to a post yesterday. I was logged in and tried using both quick reply and reply to thread, both times I got a message saying something like "username not specified" or something in that vein. Not sure if it is working again yet or if I just missed something in my post, but if I get this post up it is the first since I had the problems...

were you definitely logged in? or did you somehow clear your cookies?

Seems to be working now. It must have been a problem on my end yesterday although it wasn't working either from school or at home. Both times my login name was displayed at the top where it says "Welcome".

i can imagine several different possible causes.
if it breaks again, try and figure out what was happening before it broke and relate it to us here or craig in an email or something. might not've been just you.

I'm having the same problem, but, oddly enough, only on the general fencing discussion board. Last night I tried to make the same post several times with it not working, and it showed up as a ton of duplicates sometime after I'd signed off. I was definitely logged in and also tried it from a separate account. I use Firefox, and I tried with Safari as well, which made no difference. Help?!
