Getting Good Whipy Blade .. help meh plz

My first 2 foils... LP Etoile and STM (non FIE) I love the LP becouse it whips a bit. However I need a backup. The STM I don't like at all as it is way too stiff. I want to have whipys, even whipier than the LP. I have absolutelly no experience with that. I checked some other ppls foils in the club but to no avail. They either have stiffs or nothing that would noticebly bend more than my LP.

What is a good whipy blade (whiper than the LP)? I would guess the "Flickmaster" but that is way too expensive for me.

So ... any recomendations for whipy blades?
Non-FIE?
FIE?

P.S. I did a search and there was a thread but it was like 3 years ago.

thx for teh help

Why do you want a whippy blade? Most people have been avoiding whippy blades due to lost touches with the 2005 foil timings.

That said, if you want a whippy blade, but can't go for the flickmaster, and you don't want another Paul Etoile, then you go budget - Budget bare foil blade

That is a chinese foil blade - sold by some vendors as a "super light non-fie" blade. It's what you would expect - light and whippy, but with a lifespan shorter than an StM and definately shorter than a Paul Etoile.

If you want a whippy blade that will last, the Paul Etoile is a better bet.

Well, it is not that I do not want another LP. If the consensus is: "that is as flicky as it gets without losing touches and breaking easyly" then I will just get 1-2 more of that. It worked very well for me, untill the tip broke. I picked up the STM to continiue the bout and difference was like night and day. In the old thread it was mentioned that the Vniti were also whipy, however it was 3 years ago... is that still the case with those blades? From what I have read here they last long time.

thx

An StM will break in and be decently flicky.

Why don't you want another LP blade? What characteristics did you not like about it? Also, what is your budget for the blade?

The standard Vniti foil blades will get whippy - not as much as a Paul Etoile, but more than a newer StM. The good thing about Vnitis is they are difficult to destroy with normal use.

i have nothing against my LP blade, i like it alot. I just have no experience with others similar. If the LP is the best for my needs / price then I will just stick to it. As of the budget i have... the price for the Vniti ($113, complete) you have on the site is not too much, if that is what I'm looking for. However you say it is not as whipy so I will just stick to the LP.

btw there were complete foils with LP-E blades on your site but now they are gone...

thx

The Etoile blades are out of stock until the end of the week when we receive our next shipment.
