| epee tip prob... so....at a tourney this last weekend, a client came up....his epee would not pass weight.
He has a Zip Tip in an LP barrel....the one with the PTFE coating inside....it just did NOT want to move easily.
I took a -tip with rubbing alcohol and cleaned out the barrel AND the tip....still had teh same issue...it felt gummy.
Put a german tip in and it worked fine & dandy.
What's the deal here that was making the Zip not move easily??? Are the PTFE and the plastic in teh Zip interacting somehow? |
