When I was in college, I had a 1974 VW Beetle (this was the winter of 90-91). I was driving the fencing team back to Beloit from a competition in Milwaukee (or Waukesha...somewhere up there). We were on Hwy 43. There was a lot of wind, and there must have been some black ice. Wow...what a ride. We started spinning. We had that rear-engine rear-wheel-drive thing going on. What a sight we must have been for the rest of the traffic on 43.

Now I have a VW Jetta with electronic traction control and ten airbags. I could have used that then!

Don't get him started on winter driving. LN thinks he is the king of winter driving. I hear it everytime we travel north or anytime it gets cold here.

    He would make ME drive.

We use cabs in Toronto. It's by far the easiest way for intoxicated people to get around downtown.

Then you're too young to drink... so you're hired to drive Late, Black Sunshine and their buds drunk through the streets of Toronto while they go from one strip bar to another.

Yup, you all really missed out not being there when he spent the whole last night we all spent at the beach house proclaiming loudly, "We are the Hammered of the Gods!!" to all of our friends. Jaeger does that to you.

For eight years in northern Michigan I drove a V-8, standard transmission, rear wheel drive Mustang.

I moved to California and bought a Subaru.

ummm...I think I car my choice of cars reversed?

On a related note....it snowed today, first time. Therefore, people are now attempting to drive with their buttocks.
