More on topic, why do some names, like ZZ, ParryThis, show up green instead of blue? And why do they say "Epee Hive Queen" or "Epee Fencing Addict" instead of "senior member"? It doesn't seem to have anything to do with rep or number of posts. I'm sure I could look this up somewhere, but it's easier and quicker to just ask. Can't you, just this once, f*** off?

I think it is all a clever method to keep people posting.
It provides variable reinforcement, sort of like a slot machine. You find yourself checking your rep to see if you managed to post anything that anyone else found repworthy and then post some more to see if you can do it again.
Considerably cheaper than going to Vegas though.

On topic, it seems that many don't know that you check your rep by hitting "User CP" in the top right of your screen. "CP" stands for control panel, not the other thing. If you're in the water cooler, you then have to click on "User Control Panel", anywhere else on f.net it goes automatically. Then you see a list of who gave you rep, when, for what post, and if they choose, why.
