    Hi everybody

    Hi guys. My name is Isaac, but you can call me [superhero pose]TangMan![/superhero pose] I recently began fencing with my college club... I've never done it before but I'm really enjoying myself so far. I figured it was time to join this little party ya'll have here so maybe I can get some pointers and such. Lookin' forward to it!

    Besides, as a foilist you can really only aspire to superhero sidekick status at most. You'll have to switch to sabre if you want to advance past that.

    Epeeists, of course, can only be villains.

    No Sabres are the constantly.. 'foiled' villians. Duke Nukem, Lootin lunder, etc.

    Foils are 'By your powers combined i am.. CAPTAIN PLANET!' GO PLANET!

    and Epees are 'the weaklings that have to summon foilists to fight the villians

    Good evening all

    I have not fenced since 1994!! Is that not SAAAAAAADDDD! In 1992 I took Bronze in foil at the Junior Olympics and in '93 another bronze in eppee at the state games. I whent to Nationals but was inches away from another Bronze. Right after that my fencing career came to a SCREECHING halt. I could no longer make it to practice and ran off to the Marine Corps. They told me that there was a fencing team and that I could join it and try out for the Olympic team. HAHAHA!!!! That is the only time my recruiter lied to me. Oh well....

    I sure miss competing tho'.
