| Eigertek problem...help? I've got an older eigertek eclipse (rev B board) with one side that is dead.
That is, it never registers a touch in epee and is always screaming off target
in foil.
The other side of the box works fine.
No, it's not the reel or floor cables, it does the same thing with body cords
plugged directly into the box.
Has anyone seen this before?
I check for obvious cracked solder joints, cut traces, etc. Nothing wrong that
I could see.

| Dieter will probably answer you soon, and probably tell you to send it in. It really sounds like it has a blown B line. |

| Just for giggles I grounded the guard to the lame, the ground lamp does light.
That would imply that A and C are working correctly, no? Quote:

| Mikol, I just replied to your personal message.
Send your Eclipse back to American Fencers Supply with a note that it needs fixing. Eigertek will fix your machine and upgrade it to the Doha 1.3 chip. Here's the best part. The repair and upgrade are free. You just pay for the shipping.
If you're nice, maybe you could also buy something you need from AFS.
Happy fencing,
Dieter
