Woohoo... I'm on Facebook now! But, hmmm... for a networking site it's kind of odd that I can only see the profiles of people that are already my friends. I mean, doesnt that kind of defeat the purpose?

It could mean, "I need an easier way of saying happy holidays than writing a message or posting on your wall". It may also say, "I desire to express discontent with you through passive-aggressive eSlapping", or, "I don't think you're hot but I desire to aknowledge your presence with by throwing livestock at you", etc....
