Array My first day fencing in 3 months Amazing, the club is totally different from my old one but still pretty good. My class is... eh. I could pretty much take everyone out in 1 move, but its good to get practice in I guess
My coaches are awesome, one of them got bronze in +50 world champs. Shes cool. The other reminds me of a portly Matthew Broderick, in the best possible way.
Anyway, if any of you know them don't tell um I said that haha.

Array How I envy you. I had the first round of lessons in may and after then they've been put off until hopefully next month... (I do hope they start!) ===)-------------------

Fencing whoop! Are you with the beginner epeeists? Or have you had a chance to fence the better ones? Regarding your coach who got bronze in the vet world championships...did you know her daughter is also a world championship bronze medalist in epee? How cool is that? Two bronzes in one family in one world championship year. Kerry's picture is on the wall of the club. -

Also they put me in the beginners foil class. I don't enjoy that to much, but they said I need to get through that class first. -

Yeah last nights class was basically just a review. Footwork was good though. I walk in the door, jeans on, stuff in pockets and proper pants in car (wasn't sure if they had equips for me) and was told to go directly to footwork. I was like "Yes, proper fencing I am back!"
Good times. -

Array Bout 2 minuets of stretching, I had a little trouble finding the place so I was a bit late. As for warm ups they just start off slow. Similar Threads -
