blue guantlet blades Hey there
I was wondering if anybody had experience with the SG blades that blue gauntlet puts out. They cost a little more than the basic BG blades and I was wondering how they felt. I am trying to outfit some members from our club with their own electrical weapons and given the limited budget... -

Array I haven't had any expirience with their SG blades, but a clubmate bought their basic blade and it did not hold up well at all. The blade was severely kinked within a few uses. ... without remorse for the past, confident in the present, and full of hope for the future, [d'artagnan] went to bed and slept the sleep of the brave.

I'm not sure about the SG blades, but i got a basic one that came with my delux foil package. I am very happy with it, i've used it about 2 months (once a week)and have yet to have it bend. one of my guys in my class has had one for a good while now, and he said he's very happy with his Suicide Hotline...Please Hold -
I have had bad experiences with SG blades, but then again, somehow I manage to break maraging blades withing weeks occasionally. I have several beginners @ the club where I fence, however, and these blades seem to hold up decently. -

Array My son also likes them (foil and epee) a lot because of they are quite light. They tend to be soft and bend easily. Out of 6 SG blades that we have (3F/3E) none have broken yet in 6 months of routine use in the club plus 2 NAC and Summer Nat. The only problem that I have had was with one epee blade. The foible of that blade bends to the right intermittently, this began in the first 5-10 bouts of use. I now only use it against my coach (heavy padding). Similar Threads -
