    OJ busted

I'm surprised nobody has leapt on this yet. OJ Simpson busted on charges of robbery, with an audiotape of the incident yet. Has been all over the cable channels in last day or so. See http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070917/...fneAdufi.s0NUE

So, this time, does he walk again? Convicted? Who cares?

I don't think anyone had jumped on it because no one is really surprised. What kind of complex do you have to have in order to murder two people, including the mother of your children, have a complete meltdown in a white bronco which is broadcast live across the US, pretend you didn't do it and contiunue your life while accepting the discomfort of having a civil judgement against you continually trying to pull your cash away? The stretch from there to armed robbery? (picture Jon Stewart here..) ehhhhhh...not so much.

It would be a distinct pleasure to see him lose his freedom for 5, 10 or even more years.

It was only a matter of time. A life of entitlement followed by the acquittal must have made him feel well-nigh invulnerable.

I wonder if he'll put together the same defense team for this trial?

Johnny Cochran is unavailable, but perhaps a deal can be worked out with Beelzebub.

I could arrange that, for a small commission.

Oh, but wait, OJ has no soul left to trade...

I find it somewhat amusing that he may get the life in prison he justly deserves, finally.

Just verified in the grimoire.... Traded his in so I wouldn't get my hands Johnny Cochran for his trial. I might need to make an early foreclosure on OJ while I have the chance, It seems he has fallen in to the serious sub-prime market.

How is he going to be able to continue his 12-year-long hunt for the real killer, if he's stuck in jail? What the heck are these cops thinking? Besides, he's totally innocent. This is all a scam by racist law enforcement and greedy wannabe victims trying to put a black man down and take his money away, because he broke the rules and got successful.

    Agreed.

There are far more important things to worry about than OJ. This is a page 6 story that got misplaced.

    Can you dance to it?

    Jeff,
I agree that it is surprising we simply don't have the energy or will to comment on this person. In general I think our little collection of fencing.net people have over time analyzed just about everything to the point that we actually don't have to analyze this. It's self evident. He has gone bonkers and it's just a pity because at one time, everyone in America loved him. I don't think there was anyone who disliked him, and no-one can forgot the reason, it wasn't his football it was his commercial of OJ running through the Airport and jumping over hurdles for a glass of orange juice. It was incredible 'user friendly' and a great image builder. After that, we didn't know him, so it's not really possible to determine a persons' guilt or not via long distance, but..... we think it. The mystery of his wife's murder was never resolved. It's his lack of sorrow that makes people feel suspicious of his actions. The next thing is, he had a duffle bag that he checked onto a flight, that no one has ever seen - that would clear up some stuff. But this most recent debacle is interesting. Carrying a gun around, breaking into a room, holding some people at gunpoint and yelling that no-one was allowed to leave the room - false imprisonment - etc, the entire incident sounded very violent and what was it all about? Was this his audition? I'd give it a 4 out of 10.

I think the Spector case is more disturbing.
How can anyone think he is inocent.

It casts a shadow at any rate. One of the more disturbing things about this case is his hair. I have to say that I'm rather angry that a person facing the chair for murder should be even allowed to spend as much on his hair. The dye job alone is my rent money. Grrrrrrrrrrr I find this rather dis-tressing, however, my consolation is that there are millions and millions of poor people like myself, ready to rally for equity.
