Scimitar Shoes for sale

WILL CONSIDER ANY OFFER. These shoes are gently used. They were purchased in March 2007, for a growing teenager and are now too small. They have had some use but are still in very good condition. They have never been worn outside or anywhere besides a fencing strip/club. They are US men's size 6. They were purchased for $149.95 new and I am asking $50.00 for the shoes plus shipping. They were worn by a lefty and do have some drag wear on the inside of the right shoe. There are also some threads and the insides of the shoes show wear. Overall they are still great shoes. I have attached some pictures below, in one of the photos you'll see two pair of shoes - that's the smaller pair that's for sale on the left next to a new pair on the right for comparison. I reduced the pictures quite a bit to post them but can send higher quality pictures at your request. You can private email me if you prefer. Will consider all offers.

Yes - they are still available, I was going to try ebay this week... I don't know the width exactly. I do know that the Scimitars (and all Leon Paul shoes) are known for being wider than most fencing shoe brands - especially the Adidas. Leon Paul states that they run closer to normal shoe sizes in width - whatever that means. I know that both my son and I tend to run wider and have found the Adidas too narrow for our preference and like the extra room on these shoes. I would say that the shoes were worn about three times a week for about four months before they became too small for a rapidly growing teen boy!! (And I bought them a half size big to start with to accommodate growth - silly me!!) I can tell you that my kid is a bit of a neat freak and always keeps his gear, shoes included, bagged, never wears them off strip, etc. I can email you the higher resolution pics - just send me an email address and I'll get them off to you.
