| In my experience... Little boys who fence think fencing t-shirts are really cool. Getting equipment is nice too. Talk to his coach about what he needs.

| go to www.cafepress.com and search for "fencing"......there are a billion people who sell fencing related products on there. Some of the designs are pretty nifty too.

| I have yet to meet a fencer who did not appreciate equipment as a gift - I would really like the Negrini plasteron please .
How close is he to electric fencing - maybe a electric foil or two and body-cord? Maybe a lame too if Santa is feeling generous. Also t-shirts are good - the iFence one is fun. I like Absolute Fencing for purchasing equipment - but I am buying FIE at this point and cannot really help you with the quality of house-brand equipment from vendors.
Good luck Santa. |

| Wrap it Up Gloves for your man. They really feel tough in a leather glove - it's like driving a stickshift. |

| Foam swords.
KB toys for like $5 each.
Silly.. but really fun to play with.
Based on my experience teaching many six year olds, I'd say he'd have a lot of fun with 'em. Get enough for everyone to play with him, that way he dosen't wind up smaking sister or you over the head for three hours Christmas morning.

| I concur with DE about the foam swords...I actually got some from Walgreen's and my 6 and 9 year-old grandsons love them.

| Foam swords - all good.
My six year old son LOVES his sword - my husband and I like ours too. We even have a couple extras in case others want to join in the fray.
My boy keeps waiting to try his against a "real" fencer becuase I'm just Mom. |
