Y8-Y14 Youth Events- All weapons
Saturday, September 29, 2007; Maplewood NJ; PREREGISTRATION CLOSES Thursday, Sep 27, after which late fees apply.
This is the first event in the 2007-08 NJFA Youth Cup Series and double points will be awarded !!. Over 200 fencers from 45 clubs in 5 states participated in our 2006-07 series, which was sponsored by Blade Fencing, Absolute Fencing Gear, and Blue Gauntlet Fencing Gear.
This is a great opportunity for young fencers to gain valuable tournament experience. This event is sanctioned by the NJ Division and ratings can be awarded, however Youth events do not use the E1 or D1 classifications; this means these events are NR until they achieved C1 level or higher.
Fencers must meet USFA birth year requirments. Y8 (1999-2001) is not a USFA category and participation in this event is at parent discretion. It is not a sanctioned event and is for fun and practice.
NJFA is located in Maplewood, NJ, only minutes from Manhattan and accessible from all major highways in NY, NJ, CT, and Pennsylvania. Internet access available. 230 FREE parking spaces.
