Fencing Terminology

Perhaps the best approach to the [continued] confusion regarding correct fencing terminology is to follow the USMC Gunnery Sergeant adage:
"Adapt, Innnovate, Overcome."

Alas, we are at the wisdom and mercy of the FIE on the terminology issue.

It is certainly a slippery issue. Perhaps using what is available online would be a good start and then let the wiki find what it wants. Craig's been working on a glossary as well - maybe that would be a good start.

I guess that I've just been poking around at the various sources I have on hand and looking at their glossaries. The Canadian Fencing Association has some nice stuff in them that is easy to add in.
