Have the bout committee members been selected yet? Are they going to use the room with the non regulation strips again? Who are the national referees that will be there? I would like to know because it will make a difference on whether or not I go to the tournament.

    Thanks

    Julie

I believe the bout committee will be the same as it was are the Nick Toth this year.

As far as use of the "away" gym. It will be used if needed for the sabre tournament but we are making changes so that they are wider for the coming event.

Coach Salem is the one you'll need to contact about referees. I know he has a lot already hired and most of them are certified or seeking certification but I do not have current details except that many of the same referees alway referee at the Air force Academy. I will post more information here as soon as it becomes known to me.

Hey Jay K, can you help the bout committee with getting all of the results up?

Looking through what results are up I saw the Women's Foil event. 14 fencers, and 3 pools of 5, 5 and 4????? Did I miss something? Did someone pull out after pools already started? Would you not want 2 pools of 7? Sorry girls, if I had been watching I would have said something. Next time I'll try to do a better job.
    Another useful post by EPEEFORLIFE!

We were running the tournament on three computrs and we had a small glitch getting the last computer's results up but they are all up now! Sorry about the short delay.

Special thanks for Bill Oliver (volunteer referee), Damon Scaggs (lead referee and ref assigner), Jerry Benson, and all the other GREAT referees that we had this past weekend.
