Here is a copy of an e-mail I recieved from David today. I thought everyone would be interested in having this infomation for planning purposes...

There's been a slight delay due to some outstanding circumstances, but here is the 2007-2008 SSCC schedule - as it currently stands.

Sept 29-30 Gulf Coast SSCC (Gulf Coast Division)
Oct 20-21 Longhorn Open (South Texas Division)
Feb 23-24 Rose Condon Memorial (Ark-La-Miss Division)
Mar 29-30 Oz Parson's Memorial (Oklahoma Division)

The North Texas Division entry to the SSCC schedule is in a bit of flux, as the club that was going to be the host for it has disbanded. The North Texas Division will be hosting the event as a Division-sponsored venture, and is currently checking the availability of venues, with the plan to have a definitive contract locked in place by the end of the week. They are looking at the early parts of January and February, and apologize for delay and disruption this delay may cause, but are committed to putting on a high quality event for the athletes of the region.

I feel the SSCC is off to a great start for this year. Disseminating the tasks among the 6 (to become 7) directors (oso97 and myself included) is a great thing, and we're seriously hoping it makes everything go more smoothly.

We've already distributed the 2007-2008 Operations Manual to the division and section officers, as well as to the LOC points of contact (if we missed anyone, PING ME!). The schedule is published with the one exception (as posted), and we're very excited about the coming season!
