    US J.O. Qualifier Tourney Question

Does anyone know if there is an entry form that the qualifiers need to fill out before going to the actual tournament? We are having our Qualifier this weekend, but I am not sure what to do with the names of the kids that qualify. Do I send the information to USFA and they send the Tournament information directly to the qualified kids?
ANY information however little it is, will be greatly appriciated.

P.S. For anyone that cares, I won my first event this weekend. A D-Under Epee. I am a very happy man today.

Last year the USFA mailed out very detailed JO qualifier forms. We haven't gotten anything yet this year but I assume it'll come eventually. I wasn't in charge last year but I think you are correct about sending a list of qualifiers to the usfa but I think you make sure the kids know who has qualified and what they need to do to register. We didn't have any special entry forms but it might be a good idea to check birthdates so you know everyone is really eligible for the events.

    congrats on your victory kro.

As to the Jo's, if your division officers are doing their jobs they will send the qualifiers to the national office. You shouldn't have to. (unless you happen to be taht officer) But you need to ride herd on them to make sure it got done and check with the USFA to make sure yourself or anyone on your team that qualified is on the list when they get it.

Will you have a division rep at the tourney? Our JO Qualifier is this weekend, & we're going to have a rep (well, the whole board for our division since it's the winter planning meeting) there to make sure everything runs "smoothly."

Thanks for the infor thus far.

Yeah, I am the guy orginizing the event (Tournament Bout Commitee Chairman.) I just wanted to make sure that I got the correct, and all the information from the fencers up front, so I do not have to chase them down later. So, far it appears the important info is birthdate, membership number, name, address, and events qualified.
I also wanted to have the entry form at the tournament for the JO Champ. so that the parents would have plenty of time to get arrangements made.
