    Schermasport UL Epee Guard?

Has anyone used one? I'm wondering how they compare to the Vniti or other alloy guards. They're expensive (about $28.50 from Negrini, not sure if anyone else stocks them); however, they're the only lightweight option when ordering a complete weapon from Negrini.

    Thanks.

Have never knowingly touched one. Can't answer the question.

I saw them in Italy. They are similar to the Allstar UL guards. Not at all like the Vniti guards.

What kind of Epee blade does Negrini make? Why would you want to buy it anyway?
Some people say I have ADD, well I say... oh look, a chicken!

Negrini doesn't make any blades, they sell dynamo (for non-FIE) and Vniti (FIE). Maybe others, but those were the two options when I ordered my epee from them.

As forethought points out, they don't make blades; they currently appear to offer Viniti, BF, and STM FIE, and STM non-FIE. (I say currently, although they're actually on vacation until September 10th.) They do make what many people consider excellent screwless points and other components (Schermasport), as well as extremely durable body cords. Since I've found it's less costly to order their (admittedly expensive) components directly from them than to buy from a US vendor, I'm thinking of simply ordering complete weapons. That way I can also be confident that the points and everything else are assembled correctly.
