Array Minor oddity... Several times now, I have been reading a thread and, coming to the bottom of a page and noting that there is a number indicating another page, I click on that page number. And there is no page; I am taken to the top of the current page.
That is, the page numbers read, say, 1 through 7. I finish reading page 6 and click to go to page 7. I end up back at the top of page 6. No matter how many times I try to go to page 7, no page 7 appears... Use the Shift key, people! Keyboard manufacturers everywhere are ineffably saddened when you ignore what they made just for you! -

Array A few of us noticed it on the 516,649 post thread. Can't say if I've seen it anywhere else, though. -

Array Just happened to me in the 'How is Fencing Like Other Martial Arts' thread. The page list shows there should be a page 11 but clicking the link just takes you to the top of page 10. Out of curiosity, I also tried manually editing the page 10 URL (How is Fencing like other Martial Arts) to reflect page 11 and it redirected back to page 10.
Oh ho!! Decided to check it one more time, just to be paranoid, and now the link works. Of course, I checked it at 10:07 and the post at the top of page 11 was posted at 10:06 so maybe the board's anticipating a new page before it actually exists? (Or the post that will start the next page is in the process of being typed up but hasn't actually been posted yet?) -

Array I saw it too......
I thought it might be that there had been enough posts to roll to a new page, and then someone deleted one or something.
But what do I know, I'm a Reflecting God, not a programmer. Whatever doesn't kill you, is gonna leave a scar...
