Brand new near Saratoga Springs

Hi! I have a daughter who would like to take fencing lessons but I have no idea where to find any info. We are near Saratoga Springs, NY. Does anyone have any advice on where I could begin?

Hi Tia,

I'm the president of the RPI Fencing Club in Troy. We have classes starting in September and take people of any age. However, we do not specialize in young students. You may want to check out the Capital District Fencing School in Schenectady, they deal a lot with younger students.

We usually like working with kids starting around 12, but we can work with younger. Although, the bulk of our membership is college students. So I would suggest either contacting CDFS or we can put you on our mailing list and let you know when we start practices so you can check it out. I think it depends on the age of your daughter.
