Yes, please put an end to the noise polution
No, I like it.

Truth is Liberal.
Isn't that what the water cooler is for?
We could have all the "My Kung fu is stronger than your Kung fu" discussions in there.
So I guess my vote would be "no" but not because I like it.

might as well just call it the "men only, flame war" section. It would be great to pass the time, but i doubt it would happen since this is a fencing forum
but what if fencing were a martial art... lol
You can't just keep creating more sub-forums. Martial arts talk should probably go to the Water Cooler.

Water cooler. Or better yet, use a martial arts forum.
I agree WC for Martial Arts chat.
If we are agreed then I will start moving any martial arts threads to there.
But I definitely need a forum area to discuss the magic of REX KWON DO!
problem is most threads involving martial arts also directly involve fencing, which is why they end up here
The problem is with things like the last thread, the OP actually brought up a good topic that had a place in the fencing discussion forum. Unfortunately like all threads with the smallest mentiono of martial arts, it all goes the same way...
wut wut MARTIAL ARTS!! did i here MARTIAL ARTS!!!! FENCING ISNT A MARTIAL ART..... GOD..... my kicks are sOOOOOO much better than yours....

I voted yes, but in all honesty, I'm alright either way. I do think that its a good idea, which is why I voted yes.

Please do not create a martial arts section....there are, um, HOW many boards out there for marital arts already?
The few threads that get out of control can get booted to the water cooler.

Oooooh! Such fun! When enough people vote to get rid of the current batch of threads, WHOOSH! they'd just disappear!
Personally, I'd love a way to mark threads or fora to just never show up when I hit the "New Posts" button, but it's easy enough to just simply not read the thread.

On the other hand, nobody makes us read this stuff....
Damn she's quick.
