The problem is with things like the last thread, the OP actually brought up a good topic that had a place in the fencing discussion forum. Unfortunately like all threads with the smallest mentiono of martial arts, it all goes the same way...

I agree with just about everyone here--- This is a fencing messageboard. If you want to have your own little world that consists of people yelling at each other to the point of closing threads on a regular basis.......... Create your own world.

Oooooh! Such fun! When enough people vote to get rid of the current batch of threads, WHOOSH! they'd just disappear!

Personally, I'd love a way to mark threads or fora to just never show up when I hit the "New Posts" button, but it's easy enough to just simply not read the thread.
