Golf especially! *ouch* In Flanders fields the poppies grow - Between the crosses, row on row, - That mark our place, and in the sky, - The larks, still bravely singing, fly, - Scarce heard amid the guns below. ~John McCrae -

I'll give you a hint, 1 of them involves buying a freakin horse! "Sir, didn't I parry"
"You didn't take advantage of his blade enough, so no."
(I guess i should have romanced it a bit more..." -

Array Interesting that the prices for all of the college clubs exclude the cost of tuition. -

I believe that this is either a sunk or fixed cost, depending on where you are in your payment schedule, (as btw are student fees which are probably even more applicable) fencing is an additional cost beyond college attendance. Granted it maybe a requirement of fencing for the club, but that is not always the case. -

Lol, that is somewhat of a vital point for college clubs, but I've noticed that if enough people within the community want to fence that don't go to the college the college club either opens its doors to the community as a whole, or a seperate club is created where anyone can fence (case and point bradley/peoria in Illinois).
I have a question though, if you go to a site like www.AbsoluteFencingGear.com or a few other sites and ask for club discounts... how much of a discount can you expect to get as a club? Are we talking 5% 20% or more? "Hit blade, hit other guy, repeat as necessary." - Aron Liaw -

Are we talking 5% 20% or more? My experience with Absolute has been that it's generally 20% for their own brand and 10-15% for name-brand (Uhlmann, Negrinni, Leon Paul, etc). However there are exceptions - discounts generally don't to apply to items that are already on sale, nor do they apply to at least some brands of shoe. -
