Array Amarillo Roundup Sept 29-30 Amarillo Roundup
Start the season off Strong with us
September 29-30, 2007
Location: Amarillo Activity Youth Center
816 S Van Buren
Amarillo, TX 79101
Fees: All Open events $30
All Youth events $20
NO registration fees everything included in the tournament fees to make things simpler. All checks made out to AAYC.
We have applied for this event to be listed as an RYC. We have not heard back about the official status for it yet though! Either way it’ll be a great way to start the season and have ALL our new and not so new fencers open the season.
Pre-register today on Askfred.net. We are listed with the Rocky Mountain Section. Hope to see you there! For more information call us at 806-373-2292 or visit the askfred.net web-site.
THIS EVENT IS NOT to be confused with the Amarillo Colleges local level event which they call the "Amarillo Open". This event is hosted by the AAYC, High Plains Fencing, Welcome Partner of Amarillo.
We look forward to starting the season with you and your youth!

I'm not sure if you have noticed, but there only 4-5 users that are active on the RMS forum. This might not be the best place to drum up fencers that will provide feedback. -

No in the past we have gotten some good referees from fencing.net. that is why I am asking for referees; not fencers.... -

Im hoping that the local Plains Texas Coaches will promote the event in there club. It should be a great season starter for a lot of our local fencers... It's geared for a beginning of season event and we are not really expecting a lot of people from outside the division to attend. -

RMSC 2006-07 Season
Remember, nobody was receiving your communications. We could have investigated it more but SOMEONE closed the thread. -

Array I am positive all the local coaches know of the event and it's on the Division Calendar as well as ACFA's website calendar. ACFA is by far the biggest club in our area and the other clubs have been notified too....
Aaron and myself are both frusterated with the lack of communication in the section but it's a big area and everyone wants to do there own thing at this point. -

Maybe you forgot about the RMSC 2006-07 Season thread that you closed. You sounded positive that you communicated with all divisions when in fact you had not. Maybe all of the division officers have spam filters enabled that are filtering your emails? That would explain one reason why nobody responded. And what does ACFA's website calendar have to do with this? Is it a special website calendar? You're frustrated! (note the correct spelling) What about me? I go away for a couple of weeks and nobody has posted anything for me to work with until now. I need more people posting to do my job effectively. Similar Threads -
