Rules Interpretation section?

I would love to see a 'Rules Interpretation' section here, with contributions by qualified reffs and coaches. Any one else?

I agree, but does anyone know the possibilities of putting together a 'video glossary' of fencing actions from competitive footage with commentary so that users can see, at fencing tempo, what things should look like? Is it feasible? Is there space for such a thing?

Should probably add the referee's test and preparation documents from the USFA, and from other federations if they are available online.

I added a link to the USFA referee's study guide. Wasn't there some discussion in the frums about a web site with video links for discussing director calls?

Yep. Sabreur wrote a terrific message, concisely outlining what that site should look like. In the advent of the wiki, I think this is a project that could, and probably should, build itself. Fnet certainly represents a critical mass of fencing related reading in English, so eventually the powers-that-be will have to contend with any such content. I wrote a message to Craig a few weeks ago mentioning that this could become a key feature for the wiki. Still waiting for a response.

And in that time, I've discovered that there is already a feature for linking google video into forum messages. So one could argue that the glossary proposed by chefencer could already be managed via fnet. I still think a wiki implementation would be better.

By the way, Sabreur, I was really disappointed not to meet you in Hungary this month. I hope things have settled down in a positive fashion for you!
