Array Now in "Ask Fred" I'm told this tournament is now in Ask Fred. You old guys need to enter. Time is running out. -

Array deadline approaching the deadline for entering this event is fast approaching. I think it's before the end of the month, so if you're thinking about this tournament, enter now -

Array Why can't they still run it if it's not sanctioned? USFA insurance does not require tournaments to be sanctioned. (As long as it's appropriate activities related to fencing.)
They can run the event regardless of sanctioning. The only issue is whether fencers want new classifications awarded if they did well enough to earn new classifications. -

Don't they know that people my age are just happy we can still fence? Classifications are NOT what we live for. I'm dissapointed, as there are not many Veterin tournaments down south and I won't travel far anymore for a dumb fencing tournament. I've got to remember to cancel my hotel, as well.
