The "Amarillo Roundup" IS NOT the "Amarillo Open"

Apparently there has been some confusion outside the Plains Texas Division regarding a local division tournament called the "Amarillo Roundup Fencing Tournament." I have been made aware that some people erroneously think that this new "Amarillo Roundup" is the AMARILLO OPEN on a new date.

The "Amarillo Roundup" is NOT the "Amarillo Open!"

The "Amarillo Roundup" is a new tournament organized by High Plains Fencing and has absolutely no connection whatsoever with Amarillo College Fencing Association or the Amarillo Open Fencing Tournament (formerly known as the Amarillo College Open Fencing Tournament or the AC Open), despite the similarity in the names of the tournaments.

Information on the Amarillo Open Fencing Tournament is on Ask FRED at:
http://askfred.net/Events/moreInfo.p...nament_id=3491

Thank you.

No as you stated in the other threads, Chuck, the Amarillo Roundup is NOT the Amarillo Open (formerly known as the Amarillo College Open). Both events are great local evel events. We hope to see all our fans at both of them

Amarillo Roundup is:

Chuck has already posted the AC Open links below. Hope everyone will check out both events. HPF has always ran great events and ACFA also does well on running it's local level event.

Hope to see everyone at both events this season.
