Do you know any of the DE matchups? | Most memorable DE bout was DeSmet over Massialis 15-13 to get into the eight. MANY disputed calls; directed by a regular on this forum.
Shiv's bout to get to the eight was also a good one, 15-13 (as I recall) over Zach Shirtz. |

| This is a little frustrating in that I can't bring up the usfa's site, I guess we'll have to wait for a few days for results. |

MTEAM members always have to fence each other!
Kachru beat Shirtz 15-11 to make the top 8, I believe. Not 15-13.
Alexander Massialas lost to Ariel DeSmet 15-13 to make the final 8.
After the top 8 was established, DeSmet beat Kachru, who wasn't fencing up to par that bout (15-9), Willette beat Harris (15-3), I don't know if Meinhardt beat Chinman or Parkins, who was the last guy that made the top 8 (foildad said he didn't remember the last guy)...
I know that in the round to make top 2, DeSmet beat Willette and Meinhardt beat Getz (15-14) from being behind 12-14 so he made a good comeback! Go Gerek!
Then Ariel DeSmet got hurt and was limping and Gerek beat him but I forget what the score was. |
