Icon7 Waiver/release form

Hello all. Does anyone have a copy of a fencing waiver/release form that you use. If so, I would love a copy of it! kitty.hawk101@yahoo.com Thank you

A fait accompli, but this should go into the Club Corner list.

Be sure that whatever waiver-release you are going to use complies with local laws. Not every state (I suppose I should include country too) will accept the wording of the same waiver [meaning someone's perfectly acceptable waiver from Illinois, may not be legally binding in California].

You are wise to use one, but just make sure that whatever one you do use will help to protect you in case of a lawsuit.

--This was mostly a comment for someone reading the post considering you both are from Virginia.

Also talk to a lawyer familiar with personal injury & legal liability law. One thing we found out is that even with a signed waivers, we could still be held liable for injuries.

As I understand it, the main purpose of a waiver-release form is to attempt to ensure that participants have some warning as to possible injuries, etc.
