Try looking on fencing.net's directory of clubs and salles. It has a lot of good info and can point you in the right direction.

Mir, In Brisbane you have depending on where you live...
Chevelivers at Camp Hill
Brisbane City Fencers at Indropilly
Brisbane Fencers Academy at Clayfield. Their contact details can all be found at www.fencingonline.com . I train at all three. The first is run by one of the regional directors of coaching, the second is my primary club (lots of 20 somethings0 and the third is the most professionally run with real 10 week beginner classes and such. All provide gear etc. I know that BCF is closing on the 9th for a month or so as we are all totally stuffed. But if you want to start immeadiately one of the other two should be open!
