| Fit of lames In our pre-tournament run through of equipment, we discovered my son's foil lame has dead spots, so we'll be buying a new one in Miami. I couldn't find my question answered in the reviews, so here it is : He has a Prieur now and it fits his tall and thin frame very well. So we don't have to spend a lot of time looking at the big and boxy lames, who makes one with a close or slim fit? |

| I'm tall and skinny too (6'1, 155 lbs). I currently have a santelli which fits me pretty nicely, but I am not sure if they are still in production. I have heard that the allstar is cut pretty slim.
But why not just get another Prieur?

| Which vendors carry Prieur lames in the US? I can't think of any offhand. |

| Allstar has also been wont to cut their jackets and lamés for slender persons. Well, at least more than Uhlmann.

| I'd post links but I'm at work
Curver inwards from the hips to the croissard, which is supposed to make it fit better but removes target area and is against the rules. Many lames were failed for not meeting this requirement last Summer Nationals. |

| Where the groin area is curved. They're illegal. Last year's nationals, the armory staff was failing them left and right. Get a lame where the line from the hip bone to the groin is straight.
(Stupid rule) |

| Negrini (or however you spell it) works well for me and I'm pretty slim. Don't know about the tall part, but they might be a good starting place. |
