| 2007 Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps....recording from a show last week...specifically, the ending portion of their show...Stravinsky's "Firebird Suite"...specifically the final movement (the one with the loooong sustained note near the end)....GOD what a performance! Can't wait to see it live at championships this August!
Go to http://www.pearldrum.com/dci_2007/ and click on "Rehearsal clip #2" to hear the corps during a run thru...unbelievably clean in the drum line for June! |

It is brilliant, and so refreshing to see actual dancing rather than women jiggling up and down on the screen. I'm not opposed to women jiggling up and down on the screen, but I think it rather limits the creativity of the video. The exception to this rule is of course Aphex Twins video for Windowlicker. Oh so SO disturbing...
I'm currently listening to:
Amarok by Mike Oldfield
...and I really don't know what to think of it.... |
