Yes, I listen to a little country. Get over it.

they sound to me like the smiths marrying mr.scruff rounding up Roxy Music back up singers and going altogether on heavy doses of prozac.

| My burned anime disk with various music composed/performed by Yoko Kanno and The Seatbelts. There's some other stuff on there though too, but it's almost all the former two. Go Ghost in the Shell!
Also Spooks. Yeah. A group called Spooks. SIOSOS. Half the disk sucks. The other half is hip-hop/rap where it should be.
Hmm...an American-Chinese music disk I got from Wal-Mart. Trying to figure out what the whiney-string instrument is...zither? Not sure...anyway, it could use more of that.
Sonic the Hedgehog music remixes. The website has "OC" in it. Good stuff, for the most part.
Nas: Stillmatic. Older, but better than his current stuff.
Metallica earlier before that.
Thrice: Vheissu. DO NOT get their Alchemy double disk, it's terrible. They degenerated, however that was possible, I do not know. Vheissu is awesome though.
Some Incubus earlier before all that...their new stuff is terrible though, I usually only listen to Make Yourself.
That's it for now...

Anyway... if you like erhu, you should totally look up Twelve Girls Band. They're pretty mainstream as far as traditional chinese instruments are concerned (I found some of their CDs at Target!), and they aren't half bad, either.
To be on topic, The Coffee Song-- Frank Sinatra. Singing along as always. <3 |
