When does the fall season typically start?

The tournaments scheduled on AskFred have dried up to nothing as the summer nationals approach. When can we expect to see the posting begin for the "after nationals" tournements?

    Thanks.

If you browse last summer/fall's tournaments in the Results section of FRED, (filtering by date), that should give a pretty good indication of when the competition season gets ramped back up (at least in the areas where FRED has good coverage).

For the southeast, typically a handful of tournaments will start in mid-August, with the season in full gear by mid-September.

In LA we have events over labor day weekend to get us started.
Go to the well until the well is dry. When the well is dry find a new well.

In Wiconsin, the "fall" season usually strts when the weather gets cold enough for ice to form on the sidewalks.
I'm a foil fencer, and I can change, if I have to, I guess.

It depends on where you are.

Early to mid September seems to be about average for most divisions I fence in.
