| No, but whether the up or downess should be brought to a vote at all is up for vote. It's unclear when or how that will be brought to a vote, however.
Whether you know this at all is subject to which of the emails you get, and which of them you read. In the past 3 weeks, I think there are just shy of 100 of them that I haven't had time to read because of the intensive summer program I'm in. Fortunatly I'm not designated rep for our team. But this weekend, this weekend I will read them. It may take all weekend, but I will read them.

| Let's form a committe of volunteers who I'll name to determine what kind of up or downess vote we should have. We all have to agree on what "Up" means, and whether it's important to everyone or just certain people. I have this list of what it will mean and everyone should have a fair opportunity to agree with me, unless you don't, in which case we should discuss it after my list has been adopted. Let's form a committee to discuss the list of what might consist of Up and let's have people volunteer to be on that and report to us after we have a vote after the other committee report which will come in soon, no later than after next year. |

| If you don't care about the direction of the oranization, and you don't really care about winning, yeah, it's REALLY EASY to ignore the organizational bull****.
And quite frankly, I just wanna fence and have fun and beat the people in front of me, so I don't really care how we determine a winner. But I do care abut the direction of the organization......

Although I tend to be the type of person to get involved in the running of organizations I am a member of, but I'm just looking to pile a bunch of fencers into a couple of vans and drive to Northampton for a weekend of fencing. I have enough fun playing with division politics and trying to get gyms for my tournaments.

| I think MP was responding to Noodle's suggestion to ignore the complaints about how issues/decisions are handled in the organization.

-B | i never said that. i'm merely implying that every group has internal politics and problems, and that they shouldn't deter someone from joining. |

| Do you think that some groups don't have internal politics or that internal politics should deter people from joining? Obviously not XOR.
