Angulated Thrusts in foil Do angulated thrusts exist in foil? I know they do in epee which makes sense to me but, can they be used in foil? If so how, rather to what part of the foil target? Give me your thoughts on the subject please. -

Array Yes.
Angulation is merely a tool to hit an obscured target, or hit a target from an angle other than straight.
The most common application is going to flank against a squirmy lefty, so you take the blade in 8 and then angulate to the target. Collarbone and back are also interesting places to angulate to.

Array Especially with the new timings, I've worked a few angulated attacks into my fencer's skill set to use as a remise against held parrys.

Array I am agreeing with Darius and AE.
I also wanted to mention that they've been around quite a while. There are often mentioned in old-school fencing books (60's and earlier). I think they were displaced by flicks because they were effective in similar situations (getting around a parry, infighting, etc.) I can see them having more of a comeback in use in those situations where a flick is no longer likely to register.
