Santelli mask snaps

I have a santelli mask where the strap is attached to the mask by snaps, and now the snaps on the strap are bent out of shape. The mask is still in good condition, so I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get snaps that would replace the ones on my strap.

You actually should just sew the bib to the frame...all the way around and leaving no gaps. The open areas between the snaps could let a blade through.

The back strap.

Santelli still used snap-on back straps right up until the end, even in their FIE candidate mask (don't know if it got approved).

Sewing stores have two part snaps that can be used to replace them. You may have to replace the snaps on the elastic strap as well. Or put the matching snaps on a new piece of elastic.

If you can't find snaps, use pop rivets and backer plates to put short pieces of Velcro on each side and make a new elastic band with the complementary type of Velcro.

You may be able to fix the broken strap with a mitten clip.
