-w Not necessarily. If the hotel is attached to a convention center the USFA may negotiate a package deal with the hotel that a certain number of rooms to get a better rate on the venue. (THS may be doing the negotiations for the additional hotels. Who knows what agreements there are between THS, the USFA, hotels and venues.)
It may not matter at large national events but this is why it is important to stay at host hotels that are arranged by tournament organizers because if a certain number of rooms aren't booked there may be penalties. -
That's possible, and even likely. But we're talking about the group that booked Summer Nationals with people not even staying on the same landmass as the convention center. Similar Threads -
