Do you root for or against VEN?

See the current Olympic qualification points for the set up and tell me what you think would be best for the US team...

I expect that Egypt will send a team to World Championships, and that will give them the opportunity to make The Games.

Assuming that the US beats Russia in the 16, they draw France. The US was close, losing 38-36 so they could make the upset.

On the VEN/CAN potential match up in the round of 16, VEN running the table to keep a top 4 ranking in qualification points would be the next best thing to the US placing above VEN.

Seeing the placements of China and Korea at the end of the day will be interesting also.

I know, I looked at how the tableau was set up. Where did Venezuela finish?

Lost by a touch in overtime. All in all an exciting match and a good result for the US team.

Ah well; it still definitely helps us in the running against VEN.
