This shoe looks like it would be a great fencing shoe. God knows its pretty durable and fashioable to boot, and it doesn't cost more than a typical hi end fencing shoe.

I'm still wondering how to connect with a shoe manufacturer for my piste-master shoe idea from a year ago.I'm not looking to make loads of money, but I am loooking to get a truly fencer friendly shoe: lightweight; shock absorbent; multi surface friendly. I wasn't able to get a hold of anyone, much less strike up a conversation/deal.
The air series 6c is what Im using now if anyone cares. It's not the lightest shoe, but I find that for the lead foot the shoe is very light for the heel/toe stepping that the lead foot does. IOW's, it feels light on the ankle unlike, say a basketball shoe. Incidentally, this shoe is a great shoe for eskrima, 'parkour', muay thai, or any MA except internals. It is a little heavier than I'd like.
For NAC's I still use my adidas equipment HTops.
