| Good Hotels in Houston?
Hey, I'm going to tournament in Houston and wondering if there are any good hotels around. The results I get when I search the web keep pulling up ones that look - less than desirable. So for those of you that have been to Houston, could you advise me on a good one?

| What tournament? What venue? If it's at the Academy of Fencing, there's some decent places just up loop 610. The Sheraton Suites is very nice, though probably pricy (we got a great rate for the SYC) and there's some others all along there in the more moderate vein. | |

| Well, there are eight Hiltons in Houston. You can't go wrong with Hilton, and beside Paris is going to need your money to buy off the gangs in the joint. | |

I've stayed in a number of very nice places for quite inexpensive deals. And on the weekend, its actually quite easy to get around town. Try 3 star downtown hotels for $70 or so.
