Array how far do you throw the paper airplane? "A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts" - Steve Prefontaine

106.433m
And on a shorter throw that went about 65m, I did two loops. That was pretty cool, but I think it kills your speed and distance.
I'm going to quit while I'm ahead. There needs to be more interesting things to look at past about 50m or so. -

Array 9.2 meters. Nuts to this. The preceding post brought to you by Rabid Monk (TM). Rabid Monk: informative, irreverent, interesting, random and downright odd posts, done with pride since 1983. -

Where did you start on the screen?
Did you throw upwards or downwards? -

Did you throw upwards or downwards? what you need to do is bring the plane so that it is flush with the crown molding, move your cursor off the screen and then enter from the right side of the screen at the floor molding. Array Last year I got an all-expenses paid trip to Toronto for a paper-airplane throwing competition.
I choked and didn't quite win the trip to Austria for the world championships. Pity.
But it does make me a professional competitive paper airplane flyer.
And I still can't get out the darned window! The preceding post brought to you by Rabid Monk (TM). Rabid Monk: informative, irreverent, interesting, random and downright odd posts, done with pride since 1983. -

I guess everyone is good at SOMETHING. -

Array It's so insulting when it almost does a loop but just goes up and stalls, floating irritatingly slowly to the ground. -
This game needs an 'speed up flight' type button. When going for a PR (111.844m), I don't have the patience to sit around watching my plane stall over the chimney and take its sweet time stalling to the ground.
That's still only a rank of 1840. What kind of crazy flight do you need to get in the top 100? -

Array Blasted plane needs some little canards at the nose. With that wing shape, it's too likely to just stall-fall-stall unless the speed and angle of attack are JUST right. But with canards, it'd have a smoother glidepath.
Sour grapes, as I can't get it to go past 90 or so. Freedom of speech makes it easier to spot the idiots. -

Array I give up.
I can't get it to go more than about 3 feet. Originally Posted by IHateMrPotatohead I can't think of anything to put down there! -

I feel safe and secure exposing my geekiness like that, seeing as how Rabid Monk has me beat by being a competitive paper airplane flyer. -
