Searching Sorry for what must be a newbie question... Two of them, really.
Does the search forums function support boolean, proximity, phrase, or any form of searching that actually involves more than one word other than an OR? I couldn't find anything in the FAQs about it. E.g., a search for "covering target" seems to return posts/threads that either have "covering" or "target" in them, but not necessarily both.
I also take it certain words aren't indexed by the search engine. Would it be useful to index them so that they are searchable? That way someone can retrieve all the discussions about say, t.35 or t.105, for example.
I'm aware of the workaround discussed here (my search-fu is not totally weak), but I wonder if I missed something in the help files or if I'm fruitlessly searching them for a nonexistent feature yet to be implemented. -

Array What needs to be implemented is putting a custom google search engine widget here. I've got one I've been testing but the results still need a little tweaking of the settings before I want to release.

Array This may not be the best way, but it's possible to use Google and search posts exclusively from the fencing.net site, eg. t.105 site:fencing.net. -

As we know,
There are known knowns.
There are things we know we know.
We also know
There are known unknowns.
That is to say
We know there are some things
We do not know.
But there are also unknown unknowns,
The ones we don't know
We don't know.

Array Check under the "Search" option in the NavBar and you'll see a google search option.

Array Any feedback on the google search option?

Love it to the point that I'm using it exclusively. Empirically once in a while I search for something I'm positive should have a hit or two, but nothing gets returned. Next time that happens I'll make a note of the search terms I'm using. Similar Threads -
