    LP GT Epee Point Problems

I've been using the LP GT Epee points for 3-4 years now. Recently I've had four tips shear off just above the plastic insulating ring in the past 3 weeks. I've had this happen on occasion before over time, but three of these were brand new tips. Has anyone else had this problem with LP tips, or did I just get unlucky/a bad batch?

Can you send them back for us to look at?

It is not an issue we have heard about and we aren't aware of a bad batch.

If they are faulty we will replace.

Return address is here: http://www.leonpaulusa.com/fencing/home/contact.htm please include a printo out of this thread

    Sorry for the problem.

I'm not sure I kept any of the tips, but I'll look when I get home. I appreciate the customer service, but if I didn't keep any of the tips and no one else has had this problem, I'm willing to accept that some action on my part has caused this to happen.

Other than the past few weeks, the only problem I have ever had with LP tips are a couple that came where the holes for the grub screws were way too small. Craig promply replaced those.

For what it's worth I had the exact same problem with two tips purchased last year. They weren't new, though, so I just wrote it off as an unusual but not unexpected failure. I didn't keep the bits from either tip. I'm not worried about replacements, but I thought you'd like to know.
