I can rep everywhere but in the main fencing discussion forum.

Well, we'll just have to try to make more worthwhile comments there, then....

I've been unable to rep today... the last time was in the watercooler. Is there some new restrictions? Or does it just not work all the time???

I haven't been having any trouble with reping the Watercooler.

Works for me.
Can anyone detail to me exactly what the problem is?

You click on the rep button and nothing happens. It works for me in the WC, but nowhere else

I've had the same thing happen that Late describes... only it works one day, but not the next. If I want to rep someone, I will try several different days. It seems random... which I know makes it hard to fix. Perhaps it stops working (for some people) while Craig is working on the site? Or some other reason???

It doesn't work for me either.
but I can right click the rep icon and open it in another window, and it works.

That's weird because it appears to work for me.
I have slightly different privileges so it may not be a valid comparison.

I haven't had any trouble repping people in the general discussion area, fwiw.

I just tried to rep someone (in the Watercooler section, if it matters) and was unable to do so.
No "thank you for repping this person" or "you're unable to rep her/him/it yet" message, just...nothing.
Was it just an odd incident or are we no longer able to hand out rep for posts in the Watercooler section?

If it happened in all sections, I'd say it was the result of a pop-up blocker, but if only in one section . . . do you have different settings in different sections?

I have a coder going through trying to figure out why it's not working sometimes. That's the problem - it only happens sometimes.

Perhaps, it is the Fencing Net Hal. Learning who is worth of reputation!

Bringing this issue back up again...

It has now happened to me both today and yesterday. I believe one post was in the WC and the other was in the Fencing Discussion forum. It's not that I was 'out of rep' to hand out -- I was unable to hand it out.

I tried this little trick. It worked, but seems like a bit of a hassle to have to do this...

Did your coder find anything about this, Craig?
