Array Madeleine Korbel Albright Please, is there any way to get Madeleine Albright to run for President? [she already has a middle name] ...how can we get her in? -

Array Her middle name is derived from her original surname Korbelová, from the time she was born to Czechoslovakian parents in Prague.
I believe that counts her out of the candidacy, whether or not she'd like to run... "...assess, analyze, adjust..." a desperate chant in 1 to 14 situation in quarterfinals -

Array I was aware of her background, She was originally Jewish, converted to Catholicism, then became a Protestant. She lost three Grandparents to the Holocost. She was able to escape when she was very young.
But since she has already served the United States in one of its' highest offices: Secretary of State - I feel we should take a look at that citizenship requirement......hasn't she already passed the 'loyalty' test?
As things stand now, that would eliminate many many fine - qualified people from getting into the race!!!
[but speaking of current events - I'd better get into the Jared Diamond thread before it barficates.....] -

If you amend the Constitution to allow Madeline Albright to run for president, then that would open the way for Ahhhnold Schwartzenegger. Now wouldn't that be an interesting campaign? -

Array yes I woud change the constitution We need a few changes. I would be in favor of typing the whole thing up again to include:
[we could make the changes as strict as Cigerette Laws, or Dry County laws as in Arkansas where liquor is not sold]
revised wording for the right to bear arms to read:
1. In order to form a militia, the government has the right to bear arms in order to protect the United States of America, its' citizens, and its' visitors. That the sale of guns and ammunition is not allowed to its' citizens or its' visitors from Magazine Sales, Wholesale or Retail Shows, Gun Clubs or Gun Fairs; nor can guns or ammunition be transported by citizens or its visitors interstate; and that citizens may store arms in limited quantity [name the quantity] along with ammunition in a private home to a certain calibar [name the calibar]; that the citizens on hire by a local Law Enforcement office or National or State Law Enforcement office may store guns and ammunition that is consistant and within the scope of their job descriptions and that these weapons are issued by the Law Enforcement Agency that has hired that personnel. That sporting rifles and hunting rifles meet specific Federal regulations in keeping with State regulations and meet all safety considerations, and that citizens and visitors breeching these regulations and considerations shall be in violation of Federal and State Laws which have met with consistent National and State Legislation.
2. Candidates for National Election for President of the United States shall include Naturalized Citizens who have shown loyalty to the United States of America by prior service to include the Following Appointments or Elections: United States Senate; United States Congress; The Secretary of State; and The Supreme Court of the United States.
