| 350NW Jacket and Breeches Care Heyta All
Please help...
I recently acquired a 350 NW jacket and breeches set from Apmotex (Russian). I was wondering if anyone knew what was the best way to look after it, ie does it need special washing or special care?
Regards

| Wash it like you would normal clothes - thats what i have been toldto do & it works, and thats for 800N gear, so i would assume the same for 350N

| I would put a few more restrictions on washing your gear aside from "normal washing." First, don't ever use bleach on your uniform. Second, hang dry your uniform, to avoid shrinking. If you have some nasty stains to get out, just pre-treat the area with normal liquid detergent. I have an Uhlmann FIE 800 NW uniform from 1995 and it is in great shape using these instructions.

| The most I'll do for drying is put the uniform in on the lowest setting for about 10 minutes, then hang them to finish drying.
Cheers,

| Hi Zorro
The uniform is actually really nice!
It is made of a stretch type fabric and is lined with a heavy weight fairly stiff fabric (the 350NW stuff I presume). The exterior is a quite shiny but is kind of cool! I have not had a chance to fence in it yet. As soon as I do I can let you know what it is like.
The best thing about it for me is that it FITS!!! Being in SA I have almost never had a chance to try fencing kit on and I have quite long arms, but an otherwise smallish and slender build. I therefore usually end up with kit that is either way too large or with sleeves that are too short.
It appears to be of a heavier weight than my previous cotton uniform, but not as stifling as some other stuff I have seen around.
I am really happy and so far it seems very good value for money (especially as I did not have to pay postage and packaging fees on it as I bought it right here!)
