As seen from the Italian prospective...

The semifinal bout was very tough for the Italian who had to contend not only with his opponent but also with the defective functioning of his wireless apparatus which was tested in foil today. In any case, after a very strong start 11-4 and then 14-7, the Italian had a black-out which allowed Castellani to close the distance to 14-12, including two red cards given to the Italian. However, fortunately he [Lari] was able to score the final touch.

Congratulations to Enzo for a great bout!

In the final against Miyake, Lari started poorly 0-5, recovered 10-11, then was down 11-14, to recover 14-14. Miyake got the last touch.

What times does fencing start? I'm seeing it as 7am in Istanbul (closest city I could find a WorldClock entry for) and I know that's a bit early, but they haven't even posted the entry lists for the Cadet MS and WE yet.
