Array Let's All Root for Maine Hockey! The Black Bears have done it again! They're headed to the Frozen Four despite having had a less than stellar season. And yes, I FENCE in New Hampsire, but it cracks me up how much this annoys the fans of UNH Wildcat Hockey! (UNH, you are my 2nd favorite team, you know!)
GO MAINE!
NCAA FROZEN FOUR: The Black Bears will take part in the NCAA Frozen Four for the second straight season when they face Michigan State on Thursday, April 5 in St. Louis, Missouri. It marks the Black Bears eleventh overall trip to the Frozen Four and the fourth time in the last six seasons. The Black Bears will face the winner of the Midwest Regional, Michigan State. In the other semifinal game, Northeast Region Champion Boston College will face West Regional Champion North Dakota at 8:00 pm. The NCAA Championship game will be played on April 7 at 7:00 pm. -

Sorry... UMASS alumnus here... kind of bitter about the second round of the tournament...
That said, it was a great step for UMASS to even make the dance, never mind beat clarkson in OT in the first round.
that said, I am pulling for Maine, as I'd like to see hockey east put two in the championship game... so go BC and go Maine.

Array OK...I was wrong... I had a web connection at work (game tracker) which said that Maine was up 3-0, then it stopped working. Maine actually lost 4-2. Oh well. Similar Threads -
