Fencing.net and Fencing Forum are more than enough in terms of online fencing communities...splitting up will only reduce membership, which is already hardly enormous when compared to some other online forums.

Are you thinking of a version of fencing.net and fencingforum.com for younger fencers?

Wouldn't it just be easier to ask for a section on fencing.net?

I don't know how other youth-based discussion groups work, but it seems to me that creating a forum (or even a forum category) strictly for youth fencers might leave them vulnerable to unsavories like Elon. At least on this forum there are plenty of adults to police it. Also, if I had a son or daughter on the internet that was under 18 I wouldn't allow them to post their age for just that reason.

SumwutPolish is on a distinguished road
This might be kinda of obvious if anybody's one of my last post's, but yeah- as a 'youth fencer', I'd definitely like a section to talk to other... 'youth'. Heck, there's a place for parents to talk. Why not their kids?

So I'm thinking along the lines of a board... not a thread or even a seperate site ascociated with the original 'just plain fencing.net', but a board?
